Escaped from Russian actress Chulpan Khamatova can return to the country only when all Russian patriots are explained that they were wrong. She stated this in an interview on the YouTube channel Misha Poniatowski.
"These people who live there, they will stay there. If you go back there, it should be some kind of missionary work… This should already be some kind of rehabilitation. Lobotomy, I do not know. How to explain to a person: you know, you were wrong then, and it was all terrible, you have to live differently," said the actress.
At the same time, she stated that she did not know how to do such a job.
The State Duma has already reacted to Khamatova's words. The first deputy chairman of the Culture Committee, Alexander Sholokhov (United Russia), is sure that the so-called stars who have left simply have an inflated self-esteem, but no one needs them abroad.
"This is an additional proof of both artificially created overestimation in public opinion and exorbitant self-esteem. And fate — yes, common to this inglorious galaxy. One might think that someone has doubts that the absolute majority of our, including much more talented artists, are not needed abroad for nothing," the parliamentarian told the portal News.ru .
As reported by EADaily, in February of this year, Khamatova already called the conditions under which she would return to Russia. She needs to be able to express dissatisfaction, knowing that nothing will happen to her for this. She also wants to be "not killed, not poisoned."
She added that all these conditions will be fulfilled automatically when the foundation is changed, "when the country changes its political course."
