A tourist had her face smashed because of Russian speech in an elite hotel in Georgia, Readovka reports.
"The Russians arrived in Georgia to meet friends and celebrate a birthday — they chose a luxury boutique hotel in Kakheti. The girls talked on the balcony, but at some point the tourists, according to them, were reprimanded by other holidaymakers for speaking Russian. An altercation ensued, after which an enraged man flew into their room and hit one of them in the face, a friend of the victim said. The number of victims was allegedly reported to the attacker at the hotel reception after a complaint was received from neighbors," the report said.
The victim was assisted by doctors, and her friend gives evidence to the police.
The girl said that law enforcement officers persistently asked her to delete the video of the attack, and the hotel blocked her account in social networks.
The police have not officially commented on the incident, information about the detention of the aggressor has not yet been received.
