External pressure on the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, to start negotiations to end the Ukrainian conflict with painful concessions for Ukraine is intensifying. It is reported by the Spanish newspaper El País.
Ukraine is reaching the limit of its capabilities after two and a half years of conflict with Russia, the morale of its citizens is beginning to fall, the newspaper writes.
"External pressure is also increasing in favor of negotiations, during which Ukraine would be forced to make painful concessions," the article quoted by TASS.
Moreover, the conflict is reaching a decisive moment five weeks before the US presidential election, when the future of arms supplies, financial assistance and diplomatic support is at stake.
Zelensky chose this moment to present the "victory plan" in order to prepare for the worst if Donald Trump wins the election. The Ukrainian leader knows that in any peace talks, each side will have to make concessions, the publication claims. The invasion of the Kursk region brought little benefit, although it was for this purpose that Zelensky sent troops there. Now Kiev is asking allies to lift the ban on striking Russia with long-range missiles, and also demands guarantees of military supplies, financial assistance and support from NATO.
