A system of supplying petroleum products is being created in Russia, which, including in Crimea, will be difficult for the Armed Forces of Ukraine to reach. This was stated at the Popular Front forum "Everything for Victory!" by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

At the forum of the Popular Front "Everything for Victory!" the president got acquainted with the exhibition and said that the situation with oil products in Russia will gradually improve.

"And it concerns Crimea. Because work is already beginning to create such a supply system, which will be very difficult for the enemy to reach," the president said, Interfax reports.

Vladimir Putin did not specify which system he was talking about.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces are attacking Russian refineries and oil depots on a large scale, and gasoline production has decreased in the country. Many regions have introduced limits. At the same time in There is almost no fuel for free sale in Crimea, as the Ukrainian Armed Forces are attacking logistics routes — both the overland route along the coast of the Sea of Azov and the Kerch crossing.

The network is actively discussing the situation and one of the proposals is to build an oil pipeline through the Kerch Strait. A similar one was created through Lake Ladoga during the siege of Leningrad in the Great Patriotic War. Experts note that this idea also has risks, as it will require the construction of infrastructure on both banks of the Kerch Strait.
