The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, arrived at the White House.
US President Donald Trump met him on the doorstep.
It should be noted that the facial expressions of both participants of the ceremony are strained, if not sour.
At the same time, Zelensky arrived in all black, which Trump noted.
"He is in full dress today," the American president said.
"We will reach a big agreement, Ukraine will no longer return to war," the American president said at a meeting with Zelensky, quoted by Strana.
"We will sign the agreement on minerals today," Trump stressed, noting that this is a very fair agreement with Ukraine and a great commitment from the United States.
Trump also said that the parties are "close enough" to an agreement on the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict.
Zelensky, in turn, said that he had come to ask what Trump was ready for.
"I understand what Europe is ready for. I want to ask President Trump what the United States is ready for," the head of the Kiev regime said at a briefing.
According to him, "(Russian President Vladimir) Putin will not stop."
Ceasefire agreement on Ukraine is inevitable, Trump stressed meanwhile. He said that his contacts with Putin are "excellent" and that negotiators have already begun discussing the parameters of a future agreement on Ukraine.
Zelensky said that "any negotiations should take place at a meeting of the Russian Federation and Ukraine", then, in his opinion, the United States can join them and Europe should join.
Trump was asked if there would be a meeting between Putin and Zelensky.
"They don't like each other," he replied.
