US President Donald Trump meets with advisers and decides what to do next regarding assistance to Ukraine. This was stated by Air Force National Security Adviser Mike Waltz.
So he answered the question about the possible withdrawal of aid to Kiev.
It is noted that Waltz ignored clarifying questions.
In addition, Trump's adviser commented on Friday's meeting at the White House of the US president with the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, during which an altercation took place.
"He could have been provided with economic guarantees that would benefit Ukraine… We are really confused as to why we were treated so hostile," said Waltz, quoted by the Russian Air Force Service.
He also said that the United States welcomes Europe's efforts to end the war in Ukraine.
According to him, Washington is pleased that the Europeans are taking on a leading role in ensuring European security. Europe, in his opinion, should make more efforts in this direction.
As EADaily reported, a meeting was held in Washington on Friday with the participation of Trump, US Vice President Jay D. Vance and Zelensky, which escalated into a public skirmish. Zelensky tried to argue and constantly interrupted his interlocutors, assuring them that Ukraine was the only one fighting with Russia. As a result, he was kicked out of the White House, and the deal fell through.
