Detained in In Sochi, a 22-year-old Romanian citizen confessed in cooperation with Ukrainian intelligence. The video of his testimony was distributed by the FSB Central Control Center.
When asked who he was in contact with, the detainee answered in English:
"His name is Vladimir, he is a senior intelligence officer of Ukraine."
"I saw the air defense calculation on the way from Sochi to Adler, on the right side of the road. I remembered the intersection where it was. Later I found this place on the map and sent him this information," the detainee said during the interrogation.
A criminal case has been opened against him by the investigative department of the FSB in the Krasnodar Territory under Article 276 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (espionage), TASS reports.
As EADaily reported, according to the FSB, "in the summer of 2024, the defendant, on the instructions of the Ukrainian special services, collected and transmitted information about the locations of air defense systems located in Sochi."
