A woman who shouted slogans in support of Ukraine was detained in Sochi.
According to the "Base", local residents complained to the police about 40‑year-old Esmira B., who was walking along Krasnodonskaya Street and shouting pro-Ukrainian slogans. According to preliminary data, the woman wanted to protest in this way in connection with the tension in Russian-Azerbaijani relations (Esmira is a citizen of Russia, but was born and lived in Azerbaijan for some time).
Two days later, the woman was detained. An administrative protocol was drawn up on her under Article 20.3 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation (propaganda or public display of Nazi symbols). Esmira could face up to 15 days of arrest.
