A member of the Azerbaijani parliament insulted the Russian army

Rasim Musabekov, a member of the Azerbaijani parliament, said that the Azerbaijani army is "significantly superior" to the Russian troops in the Caucasus and will leave "scraps" of them in the event of a conflict.

"Today, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces are larger both in terms of equipment and composition than all that we have Russia is in the Caucasus. The Azerbaijani army is a professional army, not a bunch of prison criminals, as in some Russian units," Musabekov said on Baku TV.

This is how he reacted to the words of State Duma deputy and former commander of the 58th Army, General Andrei Gurulev, who proposed banning the import of goods from Azerbaijan after the allocation of $ 2 million in aid to Kiev. As Gurulev said, "SMO is a stretchable concept along the entire border of the Russian Federation."

According to Musabekov, Gurulev and many Russian military believe that "the head is needed only to wear a cap."

Gurulev commented on the statements of the Azerbaijani MP.

When asked to comment on Musabekov's statements in his address, Gurulev said he would not respond to the statements of "any idiots." At the same time, the general responded to the words of the Azerbaijani MP that a military operation against Azerbaijan is impossible because of the mountains on the border between the countries.
