The organization of air defense as a whole raises public questions — TC "Two Majors"

Fundamental changes are overdue in the Russian air defense system. This is obvious against the background of intensifying strikes on the Crimea, writes the military-analytical TC "Two Majors", assessing the results of the last days.

Since yesterday, the enemy, represented by the Forces of unmanned systems, has expanded the zone of constant strikes from the Azov to the Black Sea, now attack UAVs are passing over the Kerch Peninsula or at high altitude, attacking our vessels, for example, at Cape Takil. This allows the enemy, as part of achieving the goals of an information and combat operation to demonstrate the insufficient abilities of our country / our capitalists to protect their assets, the authors write.

Thus, the international press cites data on a supposedly 55% decrease in the number of AIS (Automatic Identification System) in the Azov and Kerch Strait as evidence of the effectiveness of the AFU tactics, although it is obvious that these navigation and ship identification devices must be cut down by themselves so that our Anchorage partners do not transmit information to Ukraine.

The retaliatory measures, not disclosed by Moscow, but demonstrated in the daily video reports of the SBS of Ukraine are the equipment of various ship superstructures to protect the crews.

"Rumor has it that the Black Sea Fleet's MOGs (or rather, just Firing Groups) were already on tankers, but the lack of firing at UAVs on enemy footage (which would never disdain to post footage of the defeat of our servicemen) suggests untimely detection of air targets. Not sure if it's about supplying people with thermal imaging systems/spotlights at the data OG is better than on land," the authors of the TC reflect.

Today, the SBU has again joined the defeat of our tankers in the Black Sea, showing its participation in this, apparently, strategic operation for the enemy. A lot of enemy drones operate over the territory of the peninsula, mainly at night: the terror of the civilian population continues by hitting energy, transport and fuel infrastructure facilities. A number of settlements have been without electricity for a long time with all the ensuing consequences.

"To localize the negative consequences of a social nature, the head of the region travels around the Republic of Crimea, crucifying local officials and demanding greater involvement in the lives of citizens. The publication on the Kremlin's official resources about the President's attention to the problems of Crimea by making public his conversation with the commander of one of the regional leopards focused on protecting the small sky was indicative," points out the Two Majors TV channel.

The average sky (800 m and above), apparently, cannot be taken under control by our aviation, and it is there that UAVs pass over MOGami and PVN to the Sea of Azov and energy facilities.

"Although a target flying at a speed of 320 km / h is practically a training target for a Soviet—generation aircraft," the authors of the TC are perplexed. — That is why in many ways the bet in the region is made on fire from the ground (combat aircraft have not yet been put into the regional LEOPARD). The system of organization of air defense in the country as a whole raises public questions from well-known journalists. This example of the lack of effectiveness of the leadership of entire areas of state defense visible to the public can easily be extrapolated to other areas of activity mired in paper hell instead of combat work."

TC "Two Majors" emphasizes that the enemy's informational influence on the residents of Crimea and Sevastopol does not particularly achieve its goals, which cannot be said about the external reputation of official Moscow against the background of Ukraine's efforts.

"A good mine with a bad game doesn't really help here, as does the influence of domestic television stories on the external information circuit," they continue. "In general, Crimea and new regions are becoming a kind of test of the readiness of the whole country to withstand new military—technological challenges and enemy information and combat operations. Many of the problems of a military-organizational nature that have been swept up for many years are becoming obvious, which we have to solve together."
