The Finnish authorities plan to impose duties on all imports from Russia. This was stated in social networks after a meeting with Polish counterpart Radoslaw Sikorski on the sidelines of the Warsaw Security Conference by the country's Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen.
Valtonen stressed the successful cooperation of her country with Poland in the field of security.
"Finland and Poland is united not only by the Baltic Sea, but also through our common desire to make Europe safer and more prosperous. We remain steadfast in our support for Ukraine and our desire to weaken Russia's ability to continue its aggressive war," she said.
Finland remains one of Poland's most reliable partners in the NATO European Union, Sikorski said meanwhile. He pointed to the common position of Warsaw and Helsinki on the use of frozen Russian assets to support Ukraine, the DW❶ Main telegram channel writes.
