Political scientist Dmitry Evstafyev believes that the "rollback of pressure on Iran" speaks of the rationality of US President Donald Trump.
"Trump will strike. But not now. And not for Iran. And not from an aircraft carrier. A joke. Well, as a joke… But seriously, the rollback in the current phase of the pressure on Iran may be pure misinformation. To relax the Iranians, as it was played with Maduro. But if not, Trump's external "cowardice" means maintaining rationality in political behavior," Evstafyev writes in the telegram channel.
This, according to the political scientist, is no less dangerous for Russia, "than throwing an axe around the world in search of the Nobel Prize."
"My diagnosis is that there is a big multilateral bargaining. Yes, in Greenland, which, I think, will be given. And by Ukraine, which Trump will give. But not for us," Evstafyev concluded.
