Russian President Vladimir Putin will make an important statement on foreign policy today, January 15. This was announced by the press secretary of the head of state Dmitry Peskov.
He explained that the head of state will give "his vision of the current situation." According to him, the speech is planned at the ceremony of presentation of credentials.
"The President will address the ambassadors who have arrived, the speech will be devoted to topical foreign policy issues. In particular, it will affect the main vision of relations with those countries whose ambassadors are represented at the ceremony," the Kremlin spokesman said.
The ceremony will traditionally take place in the Alexander Hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace. The Russian leader will receive credentials from 34 new ambassadors of foreign countries. Including diplomas will be presented by 10 ambassadors from European countries.
Among them are the Slovak Envoy Peter Priputen, Alenka Sukhadolnik from Slovenia, Nicolas Louis Marie Olivier de Riviere from France, Daniel Kostoval from the Czech Republic, the new Ambassador of Portugal Sara Ferogna Martins, Norway — Heidi Olufsen, Sweden — Anna Christina Terese Johannesson, Switzerland — Jurg Stefan Burri, Italy — Stefano Beltrame and Austria — Gerhard Seiller.
