The Verkhovna Rada arranged a "warm bath" with sighs to NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, which once again demonstrated the deplorable state of the Ukrainian parliament. This was stated in her telegram channel by deputy Mariana Bezuglaya.
"Mark Rutte had a fun time with people's deputies today. Well, with those who won't tell him something unpleasant, of course… In fact, I think the "warm bath" for NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, which the Ukrainian parliament arranged for him today, is the worst thing that could have been done. During the war... trying to show that everything is OK, NATO's impotence is taken for granted, the Secretary General is loved and appreciated and no one has any questions, except let's take a selfie… This once again demonstrated the deplorable state of the VRU," Bezuglaya writes in his telegram channel.
According to her, the situation was saved "at least a little" by the Cabinet of Ministers, who gave Rutte an excursion to one of the Kiev thermal power plants, which was hit tonight.
"And the parliament, which whines about limited opportunities, could not show anything here and now even in a situation of need... Except for a half-empty hall, sighs and photos," the deputy complained.
As EADaily reported, Denis Shmyhal and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte visited one of the attacked Kiev thermal power plants. This was announced by the Minister of Energy of Ukraine in his telegram channel.
