Former Prime Minister of Norway and ex-Secretary General of the Council of Europe Thorbjorn Jagland tried to commit suicide amid an investigation into his ties with Jeffrey Epstein. This is reported by the iNyheter portal with reference to sources.
After an unsuccessful attempt to take his own life, Jagland was hospitalized.
It is noted that the politician was admitted to the hospital on February 17, but this was successfully hidden for a week. It is alleged that his lawyers allegedly concluded relevant agreements with editors of leading media outlets.
Jagland is in serious condition, the portal writes.
"According to the source, Jagland's condition is serious. The source does not want to disclose in which hospital the high—ranking politician is currently being treated," the publication quoted by Vesti says.
Recall, after the publication of documents on the Epstein case, an anti-corruption investigation was launched against Jagland.
As reported by EADaily, the American financier and pedophile Jeffrey Epstein for years used the chairman of the Nobel Committee Thorbjorn Jagland as an "elite bait" for billionaires, the telegram channel Madame Secretary wrote.
