Scientists have created a special cartridge with paint for the Russian military, designed to work against FPV drones. This is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to its own sources.
The projectile works as follows. It forms a cloud of opaque coloring matter in front of the drone.
"The opaque coloring substance, moving in the direction of the FPV drone, is dissipated in the frontal plane under the action of powder gases of an additional powder charge," the source writes.
At the same time, particles settle on the camera of the drone, making the use of the video channel impossible.
EADaily previously also informed that the States, thanks to SMO, have learned how to create drones in a matter of days.
