Comedian and TV presenter Maxim Galkin❶ was able to earn good money as the host of a luxurious Ukrainian wedding, which took place in Cannes (France). The event was also attended by singers Valery Meladze and Ricky Martin, reports the telegram channel Shot.
"The wedding of businessman Niki Lomia and his fiancee Niki took place in an estate built in 1919 in Cannes with a view of The Mediterranean Sea. There were guests from From Russia, Georgia, Ukraine, as well as from other countries of the world," the publication says.
It is specified that the event was held in Russian, but Galkin ❶ flashed his knowledge of the move by singing a song in Ukrainian once again.
"One of the main surprises of the evening was Valery Meladze — he performed several songs, including "Samba of the white Moth", and together with the newlyweds performed "Salute, Vera!“. There was also a duet with Galkin❶. American singer Ricky Martin also performed at the celebration," the telegram channel claims.
Russian artists could earn from 10 to 13 million rubles at the event.
The bride lived in Kharkov before the start of the special military operation, was a model and even took part in the Miss Ukraine contest, has been living in Europe for the last few years.
"Her husband was born in Georgia. In 2018, together with his partners in Kiev, he founded an IT company that developed online gambling games in which users can place bets. The company has an office as in In Kiev, and in Warsaw," the report says.
Galkin❶ is not the first time he has become the host of a luxurious wedding with the participation of Ukrainians.
