Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a law allowing customs officers to destroy air, underwater, surface and ground unmanned aerial vehicles over their facilities.
The law gives customs authorities the right to stop the operation of drones to repel an attack or threat of an attack on objects, territories and persons located on them.
Customs officers are allowed to use weapons and special equipment, the list of which will be determined by the Russian government, as well as use electronic warfare equipment.
