"In Panevezys (a city in Lithuania. — EADaily) during the dance competition held on May 9 at the Kalnapilis arena, the performance of the collective from Riga caused controversy among the audience. The reason for the discussion was the number performed to the song of the Russian singer Oleg Gazmanov "Sailor"," the note says.
As EADaily reported, at the Finnish lyceum, students sang the song "Mother" and waved Russian flags. This was reported by the public broadcaster Yle.
The "incident" that occurred on Thursday, during the Day of Cultures at the Tikkurilan lukio Lyceum in Vantaa, caused a wide resonance in social networks and criticism from the Minister of Education of Finland.
