The ex-head of Zelensky's office, Andriy Yermak, left the detention center today in a Mercedes with fake license plates. This is reported by the publication "Время.иа ".
"Andrei Ermak left the detention center today in a Mercedes with a license plate AA7750 IO — the number is registered to a Volkswagen Passat car," the newspaper writes.
According to the data from the network, which it cites, the number AA7750 IO is listed for a Volkswagen Passat car with a station wagon body-In the 2008 edition, it is registered to a private person.
As EADaily reported, seven individuals and seven legal entities made a pledge of 140 million hryvnia ($ 3.1 million) for the exit of the former head of the office of Volodymyr Zelensky, Andriy Yermak, from the pre-trial detention center.
Recall, today, on May 18, Yermak was released on bail from jail, where he spent four nights. On May 11, Yermak was charged with legalizing UAH 460 million ($ 10.5 million) during the construction of an elite cottage settlement near Kiev. On May 14, the court chose a preventive measure for him in the form of detention for a period of 60 days with an alternative of bail in the amount of UAH 140 million. It was expected that the money for the ex-head of the office would be collected immediately and he would not have to stay in jail. As Yermak himself noted in court, he has enough friends and acquaintances on whose help he counts. However, the collection of money stalled, and Zelensky's office, as the Ukrainian media wrote, was forced to use all possible resources. As a result, as journalist Mikhail Tkach reported, more than the required amount was collected for bail — more than 154 million hryvnia (about $ 3.5 million).
