Pashinyan gagged the old man whose grandson died

On May 19, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan ordered police and security officers to remove an elderly man who criticized his policies from an election rally in the city of Spitak. The old man was gagged and led out of the crowd.

At the rally, a man accused the Prime Minister and his entourage of the death of his grandson, a serviceman.

"I call on the police: all those who came to interfere, take them out, let them go about their business," Pashinyan said.

After the man was taken out, he told reporters that he was the grandfather of serviceman Ary Manukyan, who died in 2023 in a fire in a barracks in the village of Azat. We are talking about the tragedy of January 2023, when 15 servicemen were killed in a fire in the barracks of engineering company b.

During the performance in Spitake pensioner turned to Pashinyan with a reminder of what happened. When the security forces took the man out of the event, he demanded justice.

"Don't cover my mouth! I demand justice, where are you taking me? My child was taken and burned" — He was saying.

On May 18, Pashinyan made a scandal with a woman during a rally in Yerevan, threatening her with physical violence. The sister of the missing military doctor approached the Armenian Prime Minister and said:

"You destroyed the country, you took away our sons, you are an enemy of the people."

To this, Pashinyan began shouting loudly at the woman.

"Have you spoken out? Now listen to the answer. First of all, say thank you that they didn't break your head in the nearest toilet right now," the Armenian Prime Minister said.
