There is a catastrophic shortage of high school students in Ukraine due to flight abroad. This was stated on the air of TSN by an associate professor of KNU named after. Shevchenko Mikhail Vysotsky.

According to him, mothers take their graduate children out of the country out of harm's way.

"The 11th grades are half-empty, because whole classes of children go to study in Warsaw, Prague. Not because the education is better there, but because parents want their children to study in peaceful conditions... many mothers want their sons to leave now because they are afraid that they will not be able to leave later. The situation with recruitment in specialties where there were a lot of guys is very difficult: there is a shortage in almost all engineering and technical specialties," Vysotsky said, quoted by "Время.иа ".

As EADaily reported, if the borders are opened, Ukraine will face another demographic blow in the form of a new wave of migration. It will mainly consist of evaders who will try to reunite with their previously runaway families.

This forecast was announced by the head of the Institute of Demography and Social Research of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Ella Libanova at a press conference in Kiev. Her words are quoted by PolitNavigator.
