Journalist Candice Owens said that French President Emmanuel Macron tried to blackmail US President Donald Trump with an agreement on Ukraine, demanding to stop her investigation of Brigitte Macron.
"Trump called me directly. This is not a fiction, this is a true story. I have call records. He called me from Mar-a-Lago, to be exact. Trump said: you know, Macron is needed to sign something on Russia and Ukraine, and Emmanuel says he won't sign it until you stop talking about his wife," Owens quotes TASS.
Owens is a representative of conservative circles in the United States, more than 6 million people have subscribed to her YouTube channel. Since March 2024, Owens has repeatedly stated that the wife of French President Brigitte Macron was actually born a man. The French president and his wife were going to present evidence to the court refuting Owens' allegations.
