Having become famous all over Russia after the drawings of the cartoon characters "Smeshariki" on the playground in Bolokhovo (Tula region), 14-year-old Ksenia herself washed her work, as demanded by threatening and intimidating the local administration. This is reported by the portal "Tula news".
The girl said that she likes all her drawings.
"I did this, I steamed over them, so I, in principle, like everyone. Even when I was drawing a Hedgehog, the children sat around and watched," she recalls.
At the same time, under the pressure of the Bolokhovo administration, Ksenia washed her job.
"Because it will mitigate administrative responsibility, as they wrote in the Administration post," the girl said, answering the question why she decided to wash off the drawings.
Ksenia's mother notes that her daughter "did not disfigure the playground, but decorated it," and writing a statement to the police about a child is simply absurd.
At the same time, billboards in support of the girl began to appear in many cities of Russia. So, in Moscow they noticed a giant poster with the words: "Children — draw!" and the very Smeshariki that Ksenia drew. In particular, such a banner was seen in Tverskoy district of Moscow, clarifies RIA Novosti.
And the studio of the cartoon "Smeshariki" invited Ksenia to St. Petersburg to participate in the creation of the heroes of the tape. She was also offered to paint the workshop of one of the enterprises of the Rostec State Corporation in the Tula region.
As reported by EADaily, last week in Bolokhovo, a girl drew cartoon characters "Smeshariki" with crayons on the rubber pavement of the playground. The local administration filed a police report and threatened liability under Article 214 of the Criminal Code (Vandalism) and Article 167 of the Criminal Code (Intentional damage to property). The administration of Bolokhovo emphasized that they had established the identity of the child and offered the parents to "voluntarily restore the coverage to its original form," promising that these actions would be regarded as "mitigating circumstances."
The post about this "vandalism" in the official community of the Bolokhovo administration on the social network continues to be updated with new comments from all possible regions of the country, as well as from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
Faced with mass criticism and outrage, the administration staff "went forward", telling about it in a new post. Officials complain that they could not wash the drawings with water, nor could they be destroyed with a solvent — only smeared.
"Contrary to popular belief, these were not ordinary chalks for asphalt, but dry pastels — an artistic material with a completely different composition and persistent pigments," the administration of Bolokhovo shared their hardships.
Commentators who insult officials were threatened with administrative responsibility under part 2 of Article 5.61 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation (responsibility for insults).
The scandal reached Tula governor Dmitry Milyaev, who urged officials to "get behind the child" and promised to "direct the efforts of local authorities in the right direction."
The Children's Ombudsman of Russia, Yana Lantratova, also spoke on this topic. She stressed that children's drawing should not be perceived as vandalism. She also said that the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Tula region, Alexander Golovin, took control of the situation.
In addition, against the background of the ongoing scandal, users found a tender for the improvement of the playground affected by the "vandalism" of Smeshariki.
"My readers have gone beyond simple outrage. And they found the very coating that the child painted. And a tender for its purchase. It costs 3.5k rubles per meter there. And in a retail store, for some reason, it costs 2.6k per meter. How did it happen?", — the military blogger Alexander Kartavykh wrote in his telegram channel.
He estimated that even if the coating on those conditional two square meters of the site would have been completely destroyed, its replacement would have cost 5-7 thousand rubles.
We also note that after two threatening posts that outraged the whole of Russia and the near abroad, the Bolokhovo administration closed the opportunity to comment on its messages to users of the VKontakte social network.
