Explosions thundered in Kiev, the Ukrainian Public television channel reported against the background of the declared air alert.

"Explosions were heard in Kiev," the message published on the Public telegram channel says.

Later, the channel reported repeated explosions.

According to the online map of the Ukrainian Ministry of Digital Transformation, an air alert has been announced in Kiev.

Russia began striking at the Ukrainian infrastructure on October 10, 2022 — two days after the terrorist attack on The Crimean bridge, behind which, according to the Russian authorities, there are Ukrainian special services. Strikes are being carried out on energy, defense industry, military administration and communications facilities. Since then, an air alert has been announced every day in the Ukrainian regions, sometimes throughout the country.
