The state has relied on large oil companies and owners of private gas stations are actively putting up their property for sale in the conditions of the fuel crisis. However, as Izvestia writes, large oil companies are also getting rid of individual gas stations.
"Over the past month, over 150 ads have been posted on marketplace sites, portals with ads for commercial real estate, as well as corporate company websites. In particular, such objects are sold in the Bryansk, Kursk, Samara, Ivanovo, Tambov, Ryazan, Novosibirsk, Vladimir, Orenburg regions and other regions,"Izvestia writes.
The cost of a gas station varies from 1 to 150 million rubles, depending on the location, equipment, as well as the duration of the station and the availability of a franchise, Izvestia noted and gave an example that in Ufa has put up for sale a network of 13 gas stations for 350 million rubles.
The reason for the decisions to sell gas stations was a sharp deterioration in the financial condition of companies, including debts.
At the same time, as Izvestia writes, gas stations and large oil companies are being sold.
"Gas stations and major Russian oil companies have been put up for sale. For example, Gazprom's website lists gas stations in the Astrakhan, Rostov, Tambov and Nizhny Novgorod regions as non-core assets. Their owner is Gazprom Network of Gas Stations LLC. The price of objects ranges from 940 thousand to 13.4 million rubles," the publication continues. It mentions that there is also a sale of Lukoil gas stations — in Tver, Tyumen, Chelyabinsk, Kaluga regions and Perm Krai.
As reported by EADaily , many refineries in Russia is going into unscheduled repairs after drone attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine and fuel production has decreased. Restrictions have been imposed in many regions and the government has relied on large oil companies that own refineries. They were allowed to reduce sales volumes on the stock exchange and they keep the lowest prices in the country. At the same time, there are more independent gas stations and they are looking for fuel either on the stock exchange or from traders, which makes them sharply raise prices or work at a loss.
