The liberation of Kommunarovka by the troops of the Russian Vostok grouping in the Dnipropetrovsk region is a strategic success, since it opens up wide operational spaces both for the creation of a bridgehead and the formation of a buffer zone at the junction with the Zaporozhye region.
This opinion was expressed to the TASS news agency on Tuesday, July 27, by a military expert, retired LPR lieutenant colonel Andrei Marochko, citing his own sources.
"The capture of Kommunarovka is a strategic success of our troops, since this settlement is located at strategic heights, which allows us to further develop success in different directions," the veteran said.
He explained that as a result, wide operational spaces open up before our troops, which provide the possibility of a serious breakthrough in this sector.
"Taking these strategic heights in the Kommunarivka area will allow us to prepare a springboard for further advancement and liberation of both the Zaporozhye region and the formation of a buffer zone in the Dnipropetrovsk region," the expert concluded.
Earlier, EADaily reported that on July 27, Russian units from the Vostok group of forces, as a result of active offensive actions, liberated the settlement of Kommunarovka, Dnipropetrovsk region.
