Acting Minister of Defense of Ukraine Yevhen Khmara intends to achieve the end of the conflict with Russia before his sons reach adulthood.
"My personal goal is to end the war before my two sons, who are now 9 and 11 years old, reach military age, so that they build Ukraine, and not fight for it," the minister quotes INSIDER UA.
On July 16, the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, said that he had instructed Khmara to serve as Minister of Defense. According to Zelensky, he has "a huge, largely unprecedented experience in conducting technological strike operations." To appoint Khmara as a minister, legislators will have to change the law, according to which only a civilian can head the Ministry of Defense.
