Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski suggested shooting down Russian ballistics over Ukraine. He stated this on the TV channel TVP1 (Jedynka).
According to Sikorski, Warsaw should discuss the possibility of intercepting Russian ballistic missiles in the skies of Ukraine, without waiting for their arrival in Poland.
So he answered the question about the supply of missiles to Ukraine for the Patriot air defense system.
"The question of whether it would be better to shoot down these Russian missiles over Ukraine, rather than waiting until they possibly end up over Poland, requires a very serious discussion and should not become a hostage of party confrontation," Sikorsky said, quoted by the publication. "Время.иа ".
Earlier, the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, demanded that the allies shoot down Russian missiles and UAVs in the airspace of Ukraine. In the autumn of 2024, after a meeting with the then new NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte in Kiev, he admitted that the partners were not ready for this.
As EADaily reported, Poland found out why the sirens were silent when the Russian X-101 missile flew into its territory. This was reported by the radio station RMF24.
We are talking about the fall of the X-101 rocket on the night of July 29-30 in the Lublin region. It exploded in a field in Tarnava Colony, but there was no air alert. In fact, the Polish military overslept the rocket.
Recall that Poland finally found the missing fragment of the Russian rocket that fell in the Lublin region. This was reported by the radio station RMF24.
