The demonization of Russia in France has reached a complete absurdity. This was stated on the social network X by the leader of the French Patriots party Florian Philippot.
So he commented on the statements of experts on BFMTV, who blamed Russia for the recent forest fires in France.
"If we talk about Europe, about France and about Russia's actions, then we need to understand that in the case of some forest fires in France, questions arise about possible foreign intervention… If I'm talking about it, then it's not just a guess… You know, the police, the gendarmerie and the French special services collect information when crimes are committed in France. Therefore, all this is analyzed. And, as far as I know, the government is really considering this version and is wondering if these fires are connected with a hybrid war," the expert said in response to the anxious questions of the concerned presenter.
"Well, that's it: now they claim that Russians started forest fires in France! And you have to believe it. Otherwise, you will immediately be declared a Russian agent and sent to European re—education camps," the politician says ironically.
