In Denmark, a bust of Putin was desecrated a few hours after installation. This is reported by the Danish TV channel TV2.
A two-meter bust of Vladimir Putin was installed in a park in Aarhus as part of an advertising campaign by Radio4 radio station, but a few hours later it was desecrated.
Earlier, Radio4 announced that it was presenting Denmark with a special gift — five busts of some of the most influential and talked-about people in the world. So the radio station decided to advertise its podcast about those in power. In addition to Putin, the top five included Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, TV star Kim Kardashian and billionaire Elon Musk.
"Six hours later, the head of Putin's sculpture was cut down and stolen," TV2 said in a statement quoted by RIA Novosti.
The decapitated monument was discovered on Monday by an employee of the Aarhus commune.
As noted in the press release of the radio station, the location of the head is now being clarified. The radio station asked listeners to let us know if they know anything about the theft.
