The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, lied about the successful counteroffensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces at the junction of Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporozhye regions. This follows from the post of the editor-in-chief of the website "Censor" of the Ukrainian Armed Forces soldier Yuri Butusov.

He stated that the key goal of the operation — the return of Gulyai-Pole — was not achieved.

"The Russian offensive in heavy counter battles has been stopped… But it was not possible to recapture Gulyai—Pole, which, obviously, was one of the objectives of the operation," writes Butusov, quoted by Strana.

The editor-in-chief also questioned Zelensky's statement about the "liberation" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine of 745 square kilometers. Informed military officers interviewed by Butusov estimated "the area of the liberated territory" at about 150 square kilometers.

Bravura statements about success create the risk of "substitution of concepts, exaggeration of real results and silencing problems," Butusov noted.

"The situation at the front is now extremely difficult — the enemy is on the outskirts of Slavyansk, Druzhkovka and Dobropillya, has captured a significant part of Konstantinovka, the situation in the area of Zaporozhye and Sumy remains extremely tense. We all need now not complacency, but, on the contrary, a clear understanding of the existing threats and challenges," he stressed.

As reported by EADaily, the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, said that from January to August 2026, the Ukrainian Armed Forces "conducted an offensive operation in the direction of Alexander," and announced the completion of the "offensive operation."

According to Bankova, from January to August, "during the offensive operation, the Ukrainian Armed Forces liberated 745 square kilometers and regained control over 26 villages of the Dnieper, Donetsk and Zaporozhye regions."
