Georgia-Turkey-Azerbaijan Business Forum kicked off in Batumi. The prime minister and minister of economy of Georgia, ministers of economy of Turkey and Azerbaijan attended the event.
Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili addressed those present saying the investment environment in Georgia is fair, transparent and safe, and every cent invested by businesspersons will be guaranteed.
“I’d like to reiterate that Azerbaijan and Turkey are the key strategic partners of Georgia and we stand ready to enhance our trade and economic partnerships and friendly relations,” apsny.ge. quotes Garibashvili as saying.
The prime minster said the government of Georgia works to create more favorable investment climate and raise investments in Georgia. “Finally, I am sure that cooperation of our countries - Georgia, Azerbaijan and Turkey - is promising enough and we can turn our region into a strong actor in the economic relations of the East and West,” the politician said.
The event has brought together over 300 Georgian, Turkish and Azerbaijani companies.
