Russia will continue supplying gas to Donbass, Alexander Novak, the energy minister of Russia, says.
“The supplies launched in February will be continued as part of the contract. We have always supplied such volumes of gas to Ukraine,” he said adding that the payments for the given supplies are “considered separately.”
“Gazprom is working therein,” the minister said. “Gazprom considers these supplies as part of the effective contract.”
EADaily reported earlier, Naftogaz announced that it is suspending import of the Russian gas on July 1, as the parties achieved no agreement of the gas price in Vienna.
