Russia has plenty of proofs that Great Britain provoked the missile attack on Syria using a fake video of a chemical attack, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has said.
“There is plenty of evidence. Let’s start with the fact that the video that triggered off everything and that was the main pretext for the hectic attack engineered by the Americans, the British and the French, who dropped bombs on the chemical weapons production and storage facilities as they said (I think anyone understands that if you know the location of a chemical weapons depot, bombing it would mean the creation of a humanitarian catastrophe for everybody living nearby),” Lavrov announced in an interview to RIA Novosti.
As EADaily reported earlier, Russian Ambassador to the OPCW Alexander Shulgin announced that Russia has irrefutable evidence that there were no incident with the chemical attack in the Syrian Douma and it was a provocation staged by British special services.
