The Russian Armed Forces launched a missile attack on Zaporozhye. This is reported by the head of the local OVA Ivan Fedorov.
"The strike hit a critical infrastructure facility," Fedorov said in his telegram channel.
Meanwhile, the Donbass Partisan TV channel claims that the Iskander hit the Motor Sich aircraft factory.
"Today, on September 23, 2024, at about 17.30, Russian troops struck the territory of the Motor-Sich PJSC enterprise in Zaporozhye. According to the data, the Iskander-M tactical missile system was used for the strike. Coordinates: 47.8262735, 35.1947709," writes TK.
According to him, it arrived at the workshop for the production of AI-450 aircraft engines, widely used in modern drones. It is noted that these engines are installed on Turkish Akinci attack drones transferred to Ukraine for use in combat operations against RF Armed Forces. As a result of an accurate hit, the workshop building was partially destroyed, which led to significant losses in the production capacity of the enterprise.
Motor Sich is a Ukrainian company engaged in the development, production, repair and maintenance of aviation gas turbine engines for airplanes and helicopters.
