Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova recommended that French President Emmanuel Macron change the sources of information that had previously informed him that Republican Donald Trump would not be able to defeat Democrat Kamala Harris in the US presidential election.
"Macron congratulated Trump on his victory," she wrote in her telegram channel, recalling that "the day before, the same Macron said: "As far as I am informed, I do not think Donald Trump will become president of the United States of America."
"Apparently, the same informants as Po Ukraine, yes, Emmanuel?" the diplomat suggested.
She added with irony that "the French president needs to change the sources of information."
As EADaily reported, President of El Salvador Nayib Bukele was the first to congratulate Trump, then there were reports that French President Emmanuel Macron, Serbian President Alexander Vucic, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer sent their congratulations to the 47th president of the United States.
