The United States has launched a series of powerful strikes against Iran. This was stated in the social network X Centcom of the US Armed Forces.
"Central Command forces The US Armed Forces launched a series of powerful strikes on Iran... The US strikes were a response to Iranian attacks on three commercial vessels passing through the Strait of Hormuz. Iran's aggression was unjustified, dangerous and a clear violation of the ceasefire regime," the statement said.
Iranian media reported that seven explosions thundered in the city of Sirik in the south of the country and six each in the southern city of Bandar Abbas and on the island of Qeshm.
As reported by EADaily, the United States is revoking the license to sell Iranian oil due to Iran's strikes on commercial vessels, Axios reported. According to him, the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) of the US Treasury has revoked the general license previously issued to Tehran as part of the concluded Memorandum of Understanding.
