With their trip, the ministers demonstrated their readiness to support Syria "in its political reset, peaceful transfer of power, restoration and, no less importantly, in the process of public reconciliation," the German Foreign Ministry said.
"Many Syrians hope that the country will be able to return to the bosom of the international community.
