The Russian Armed Forces entered the village of Velikaya Novoselka in the DPR, battles began for a strategically important settlement. This is reported in his account in the social network by a Ukrainian serviceman with the call sign Muchnoy.

"The fighting for the village has begun, the enemy is rapidly exerting pressure through the destroyed bridge and has already reached the outskirts of the streets. The enemy is trying to put pressure on morally, forcing them to surrender. Some really give up," writes Muchnoy, quoted by Strana.

According to the Ukrainian military, the Armed Forces of Ukraine "need to carefully withdraw from Velikaya Novoselka, because the enemy will start throwing everything they can there; in fact, they are already doing it — starting from airstrikes and ending with shelling by Grads, as it was in Ugledar."
