The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, is moving in the wrong direction, trying to negotiate a settlement of the Ukrainian conflict through the media. This was stated by White House press Secretary Caroline Leavitt.
"As President (US Donald) Trump rightly pointed out, it is President (Barack) Obama in 2014 allowed Russia to seize Crimea. The President does not ask Ukraine to recognize Crimea. No one demanded this from them. He asks the parties to sit down at the negotiating table, realizing that this war has been cruel for too long. To make a good deal, both sides have to leave a little dissatisfied. Unfortunately, President Zelensky is trying to conduct these peace talks through the press, which is unacceptable for the president. Negotiations should take place behind closed doors.
The President's national security team and his advisers have invested considerable time, energy and efforts to put an end to this war. American taxpayers have funded billions of dollars for this effort. And that's enough. The president is disappointed. His patience is running out. He wants to do what's right for the world. He wants to see the world. He wants to stop the killings. But for this, both sides of the conflict must be ready for this. Unfortunately, President Zelensky seems to be moving in the wrong direction," Leavitt said, quoted by Strana.
As EADaily reported, no one is asking the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, to recognize Crimea as Russian territory. Crimea was lost many years ago under the auspices of President Barack Obama and is not even a subject of discussion. This was stated on the Truth Social network by US President Donald Trump.
