Russian attack aircraft destroyed a group of Polish mercenaries in Dzerzhinsk

Russian units from the Center group of forces destroyed a detachment of well-equipped Polish mercenaries during offensive combat operations.

As an attack aircraft of the 51st Russian army with the call sign "Cascade" told RIA Novosti, this happened during the liberation of the city of Dzerzhinsk (Toretsk) of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).

The military explained that the enemy position was literally 10 meters away from him. Therefore, he could clearly hear the enemy soldiers communicating in Polish.

"They were Poles, according to the echoes that we heard, speech, equipment, manner of work," said the stormtrooper.

He stressed that the mercenaries were very well equipped. Polish "soldiers of fortune" ignored all attempts to establish contact, so they had to be destroyed.

Recall that Dzerzhinsk was one of the main fortified areas of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Donbas, where Ukrainian troops have been entrenched since 2014. It was from here that Gorlovka— one of the largest cities of the DPR, was regularly shelled.

As EADaily reported, on February 7, 2025, Russian units from the Center group of forces, as a result of active offensive actions, liberated the city of Dzerzhinsk (Toretsk) of the Donetsk People's Republic.
