Abkhazia has switched to full power supply from IngurGPP since April 1, said the general director of Chernomorenergo Timur Dzhindzholia.
According to him, taking into account the cool spring, the daily electricity consumption in the country ranges from 6.5 to 7.5 million kWh per day.
Jinjolia noted that the water level in the Jvar reservoir, as of May 6, is 461.8 meters. The daily inflow of water reached 262 m3/s, while in winter it was 28-30 m3/s.
As reported by EADaily, due to the shortage of electricity due to high energy consumption, including due to the prohibited mining of cryptocurrencies, as well as the low water level in the Jvar reservoir, rolling blackouts were introduced in Abkhazia. The authorities of the republic agreed with Moscow and the deficit began to be filled by the social flow from Russia.
