A screenshot of a message from US President Donald Trump on the Truth Social social network is being distributed on social networks that a "great day" awaits Russia tomorrow, but there is no such statement in the social network itself. This is reported by the publication "Country".
"Either this is a fake screen, or Trump made such a record, but then immediately deleted it," the publication believes.
Trump's message says that "there will be big news for Russians tomorrow."
"This will be a very important day, a perfect day for shopping," the US president allegedly wrote.
It is assumed that in this way Trump allegedly hinted at the introduction of new anti-Russian sanctions.
Trump's post, if it is not fake, appeared against the background of statements by Senator Lindsey Graham❶ to ABC News. Trump, according to the senator, believes that it is time to adopt new sanctions against Russia. So he commented on the position of the US president on the bill on restrictions.
"Yesterday, for the first time, the president told me when we were playing golf with him that it was time to move forward," Graham said❶, quoted by RIA Novosti.
According to Graham❶, the Senate will begin consideration of the document in July. Among other things, we are talking about the introduction of 500% duties on trade partners of the Russian Federation that do not help Ukraine. The bill is primarily directed against India and China, which buy Russian oil.
The senator believes that Trump will sign the document if it is adopted by Congress.
