Passengers of the Antalya — Moscow flight, which was operated by Southwind Airlines, were locked in the cabin for more than two hours in a heat of more than 30 degrees.
According to the Telegram channel SHOT, after the landing was completed, about 500 tourists sat in a closed plane with non-working air conditioners for several hours. As a result, passengers, including children, began to lose consciousness and faint.
Only after that the flight attendants opened the doors, and a ladder and an ambulance were brought to the Boeing 777. People managed to go outside for a while and get some fresh air.
Rosaviatsia announced its intention to investigate this incident. The department confirmed that flight STW011 was scheduled to depart for Moscow at 19:05 Moscow time, but the flight took place only at 21:14.
"We sent a request to the carrier with the requirement to promptly submit a report on what happened, the measures taken to prevent this from happening in the future. Depending on the content of the response, we will make a decision on contacting the Turkish aviation authorities," the press service said. Federal Air Transport Agency.
