The launch of nuclear-capable Tomahawk missiles on the territory of Russia will cause an immediate and adequate response on its part. This was stated on the YouTube channel by former US Marine Corps intelligence officer military expert Scott Ritter.
"At the moment when the Tomahawk is launched at Russia, the Russians will have no choice but to assume that this missile can carry a nuclear charge, and then it will have to act accordingly," said Ritter, quoted by RIA Novosti.
The Russians "cannot allow NATO to deploy long-range strike weapons on Ukraine," the expert emphasized.
As reported by EADaily, US President Donald Trump said that he had almost made a decision on the supply of Tomahawk cruise missiles to Ukraine, but would like to understand how Kiev intends to use them.
