The closed part of the meeting between US President Donald Trump and the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, repeatedly turned into a "screaming match" — the American constantly interrupted the interlocutor and swore. It is reported by the Financial Times newspaper, citing sources.
It is noted that during the conversation, Trump interrupted Zelensky, shouted, threw aside the front maps and insisted on transferring "the entire Donetsk region" to Russia.
The US president, according to one of the informed European officials, also told Zelensky that he should make a deal with Russia, otherwise Ukraine would be destroyed.
"If [Putin] wants it, he will destroy you," Trump allegedly said.
Three other European officials familiar with the details of the discussion at the White House said that Trump lectured Zelensky for most of the meeting and urged him to accept the Russian proposal. According to sources, Moscow offered Kiev to give up the remnants of the DPR "in exchange for symbolic concessions in the south," but this was considered unacceptable at Bankova.
As reported by EADaily, the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, is ready to join the summit of Russian and US presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump in Budapest. He stated this in an interview with the American television company NBC.
