Lithuania is ready to teach the whole of Europe to defend itself if it learns it itself. This was stated by the European Commissioner for Defense and Space Andrius Kubilius.
According to him, defense is not only material, but also political and institutional preparation — and Lithuania can "demonstrate" this to the EU.
"And not only to demonstrate, but also to propose to the European Union how to implement it on a European scale. After all, Lithuania should take care not only of its defense capability, but also of the defense capability of the entire European Union. Because Lithuania's security also depends on this European preparation," he said.
At the same time, Kubilius noted that there is a nuance. Before teaching the whole EU, Lithuania must learn this by itself.
