The Ukrainian authorities have asked the United States to include a post-war amnesty clause in the peace plan for the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, and senior officials. This was stated by The Washington Post columnist David Ignatius.

It is noted that the draft agreement provides for Ukraine's withdrawal from about 25% of the territory of the DPR, which it now controls, which corresponds to the key requirement of Russia.
"In order to assure Ukraine of security behind the ceasefire line, the US draft agreement states that this withdrawal zone should be demilitarized.
