Materials with decrypted routing data and a controller of a Ukrainian UAV hit by Russian air defense systems on the night of December 29, 2025 over the Novgorod region during a terrorist attack on the residence of the President of Russia were transferred to a representative of the office of the military attache at the US Embassy in Moscow. This is reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
The data was transmitted by the Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation — Chief of the Main Directorate of the General Staff Admiral Igor Kostyukov.
"We found the wreckage of unmanned aerial vehicles carrying out this attack. A number of these UAVs have well-preserved navigation systems, they are technically sound.
